Superstructure Type	Welded plate girders (26 spans) and orthotropic box girders (3 spans over navigation channel). Open end seated abutments.
Substructure Type	2-column concrete bents.
Foundation Type	Concrete piles (Piers 2-23). Spread footings (Piers 24-30 and Abutment 1).
Remarks	This bridge was instrumented with 9 sensors in 1994 under the interagency agreement between Caltrans and DOC. The bridge was extensively instrumented with 72 sensors in 2002 during the retrofit work.
