Lateral Force Resisting SystemSteel moment frames between the penthouse and the first floor, steel braced frames at the penthouse, and concrete shear walls between the first floor and basement. Steel trusses between the second and the interstitial floors. The structure is base-isolated by 54 high damping rubber isolators.
Foundation TypeConcreye mat foundation, typically 3 to 6 feet thick.
